Location
The Rosebank precinct is fast becoming the business and cultural hub of the city and has so much to offer for every kind of traveller. Located in close proximity to Johannesburg historic CBD as well as Sandton (Africa's richest square mile and the economic epicentre of the continent), Rosebank offers amazing opportunities when it comes to food, entertainment and shopping. The area around the apartment has a buzzing nightlife and a vibe that not too many Johannesburg suburbs possess.
Two of Johannesburg's most popular shopping malls (the Mall of Rosebank and the @Zone Shopping Centre) are located just up the street (less than a 2 min walk). The area has an amazing bouquet of restaurants ranging from fast food chains like KFC and Burger King to high end culinary experiences in the Firs and Marble restaurant. The malls also offer high street shopping experiences as well as an African crafts market located right next to Starbucks.
Getting around
The walk up to the shopping malls and restaurants is less than 2 mins away. Should you wish to commute by a metro train, the Rosebank Gautrain station is located less than 5 mins away on foot (a straight walk through the mall) and offers connectivity to, among others, Sandton, OR Tambo International airport (change at Sandton required) as well as the Park Station in the Johannesburg CBD. The Rosebank Precinct is close to Oxford/Rivonia Road which is an arterial road connecting Rosebank to Sandton. The precinct also lies in close proximity to the M1 Highway and that makes connectivity to OR Tambo airport and the Johannesburg CBD an easy fare. Trywhitt Avenue (the street on which the apartment is located) is a busy thoroughfare and it is very quick (and easy) to find an Uber cab.
